Third Millennium Alliance (TMA) is incorporated in California, U.S., and is recognized as a 501(c)3, tax-exempt, non-profit organization. It was founded by a group of Ecuadorian and North American conservationists with dual backgrounds in economics and ecology. TMA owns and operates the Jama-Coaque Ecological Reserve in Manabi, Ecuador, where it is headquartered; the foundation is legally recognized as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Ecuador under the name Grupo Ecologico Jama-Coaque.
Our Mission is to conserve and restore the Pacific Equatorial Forests of the Neo-Tropics.
This blog, a condensed archive of events and opinions, is periodically updated by TMA directors, staff, and interns. The views expressed are not necessarily those of the organization.
